On Friday 24th January, the Mayor of Banyuls-sur-Mer, Jean-Michel Solé, held a ceremony to celebrate the new year. The two founders of the company Plastic@Sea had the honour to receive the medal of the city, for their communication actions to fight against the proliferation of plastics in the sea in our daily life, action in partnership with Banyuls-sur-Mer and the Oceanological Observatory of Banyuls.
The Mayor added: "These are people who are working for our future ... you are modern-day heroes ... you are the ones who are defending the planet ...".
