Our Earth Cup® in cardboard without plastic film was already recyclable and compostable at home. To limit any risk of persistence in the environment, we decided to submit it to the biodegradability and non-toxicity at sea analyses developed by Plastic at Sea: the monomaterial of our cup behaves like pure cellulose. The absence of long-term impact on marine ecosystems has been validated!
