Plastic At Sea is an innovative R&D company carrying out scientific tests to measure the toxicity and biodegradability of various materials, including plastics found in the sea, in order to help companies improve the environmental impact of their products.
Plastic At Sea's mission is to have a positive impact on tomorrow's marine life by applying our technologies and scientific rigor to help companies find sustainable, cost-effective alternatives to today's plastics.
20 highly qualified crew, including 7 marine biologists led by CEO and renowned marine biologist Anne-Leïla Meistertzheim.
Our company is located in the heart of the Banyuls-sur-Mer Marine Protected Area. We continuously collect seawater and its micro-organisms by pipeline to carry out laboratory tests as close as possible to real-life conditions.
Our vision is to create a world where plastics in the environment do not harm marine life or degrade the health of our oceans.
We strive to be a leading innovator in sustainable materials testing, working with companies to reduce their environmental impact and promote a more circular economy.
By promoting the use of responsible materials, we envision a future where our oceans are healthy and teeming with life, and where businesses can thrive while protecting the environment.
